PAPERMAKING

Polyacrylamide as a paper aid in the paper industry can be used as filter aid, enhancer, dispersant and flocculant. Polyacrylamide is a polymer linear polymer, the structure can be divided into anionic polyacrylamide, cationic polyacrylamide and nonionic polyacrylamide. As the anionic polyacrylamide with a negative charge, it can be used as pulp dispersant, can effectively improve the paper uniformity. By adjusting the molecular weight and charge density of polyacrylamide, not only can improve the retention rate of the slurry, reduce the loss of raw materials, but also can improve the strength of paper and paper tear resistance, improve visual and printing performance.

The retention agent is more cationic, which can improve the retention rate of fine fibers and filler particles on the net, accelerate the dehydration rate of paper, reduce the loss of fiber in water, improve the stability of pulp and the adhesion of filler and pigment

The polyacrylamide used in papermaking characteristics:

1. Increase the slurry retention rate and reduce the loss of raw materials.

2. Increase the strength of the paper

3. Improve paper tear resistance, improve visual and printing performance.

4. Dissolved in water and the formation of high viscosity liquid, in the low amount of added to improve pulp consistency and paper softness, improve paper forming effect.
