Non-ionic polyacrylamide

Non-ionic polyacrylamide is a water-soluble polymer or polyelectrolyte. As its molecular chain contains a certain number of polar groups, it can adsorb solid particles suspended in water to bridge the particles or aggregate the particles to form large flocs through charge neutralization. Therefore, it can accelerate the sedimentation of particles in suspension, and has very obvious effects on accelerating solution clarification and promoting filtration.

Application of polyacrylamide (PAM) in coal washing plants

Flocculant: During the coal washing process, there will be a large number of fine particles and impurities in the coal, such as soil, rock debris, organic matter, etc. As a flocculant, PAM can increase the particle size of these suspended particles, causing them to aggregate into larger flocs, which facilitates settlement and separation, thereby improving coal washing efficiency.
